How do I sign up for a service?

What is your Helmet policy?

We have a variety of helmet sizes for all age at the barn to rent. However, we do recommend buying one if you plan to continue lessons regularly for your own comfort and safety. Helmets must be ASTM-SEI certified horseback riding helmet.

How do I pay?

We accept payment at time of service; card, cash, check or Venmo.

What to wear policy

We highly recommend riders to wear long pants as well as cowboy boots or a closed-toed leather boot with at least 1/2inch heel and no high heels for all horse activities! 

Do I need my own horse?

No, you do not need your own horse. You can ride one of our well trained horses!  However if you have your own horse, we offer services to you on your horse, both here at our facility or we can travel to you!

Why should I wear riding boots?

It is a major safety precaution because of the potential of feet getting stepped on by the horses hooves and/or the potential of other footwear getting caught in the stirrup resulting in the rider getting drug!  There are boots in a variety of sizes at the barn to rent if unable to provide your own.

What kind of services are offered?

We offer everything from beginner through advanced western riding, day camps, field trips, scouts days, equine assisted healing, and more! Visit our ‘Services Page’ for more information.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes, our current weight limit is 275lbs for male and 250lbs for women due to our horse availability.

Can I bring my own horse for a session?

Yes, vaccinations records are required.

Do you sell horses?

We occasionally offer a quality horse for sale.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancelations Policy: A 7 day notice is required when a student chooses to cancel. Failure of this advanced notice will deem a late fee of $25. 

There is no cancellation fee when cancelled due to weather!

No Show: Failure to show up for a lesson without notice, lesson will be non-refundable.

Can you help me in purchasing a horse for myself? “Yes, Savannah is an experienced horse buyer, and has learned many things the hard way about buying horses. She knows what to look for, what questions to ask and how to read a horse quickly. If you would like assistance in finding the right horse for you or just have questions about the process of buying and owning a horse, we are here for you!”
